Multilingualism For All
The Bellevue School District is committed to providing an equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning environment for all students. Through our language program offerings, we actively value and respect the diverse identities and backgrounds of students. Through innovative curriculum and program development, we ensure that the value of multilingualism becomes a vital component of a student's educational experience. We aim to foster greater linguistic proficiency among our community along with an understanding for global culture and heritage. This reflects our belief that access to diverse linguistic opportunities is essential to fostering a beloved community.
We offer distinguished programs in Spanish and Mandarin, middle and high school world language offerings and unique language opportunities in Arabic, Korean, and Japanese.

Registration Closing Date: November 19, 2025
Who Can Test: Bellevue High School students only
Testing Location: Bellevue High School Library
In the event a test date is full, priority is given to Seniors and Juniors. Students will be able to sign up for the make up date.
World Language Competency Credits – Sammamish High School, Bellevue Big Picture, Digital Discovery, and International School - January 28, 2026 – 7:45 a.m. check-in
Registration Closing Date: January 14, 2026
Who Can Test: Sammamish, Bellevue Big Picture, Digital Discovery, and International School students
Testing Location: Sammamish High School Library
In the event a test date is full, priority is given to Seniors and Juniors. Students will be able to sign up for the make up date.
World Language Competency Credits – Interlake High School - March 4, 2026 – 7:45 a.m. check-in
Registration Closing Date: February 22, 2026
Who Can Test: Interlake High School students only
Testing Location: Interlake High School Library
